First crates from the first day of harvest! We’re doing all three groves this year, so it’s the beginning a a couple of weeks very hard work. The weather is good and the olives are excellent, and more than we could have hoped for. We have a small team of five this year; three working the trees with rakes, two sorting and selecting the olives, packing the crates, and moving the nets.

We work by hand, so it’s slow work, but it’s a lovely time. It’s not social media, labels, websites, administration, sales, advertising, or deliveries or anything else. It’s just us in the sun with our olive trees. It reminds us what we’re doing and why, and it’s the simple heart and pure soul of our business.
