Extremely busy weeks cleaning up the properties, with grass to cut, dead wood to clear, and land to mulch in the groves before harvest this coming week. We’re picking in all three groves this year, so there’s much to do physically and logistically before a couple of strenuous weeks work.

We’re also preparing for the approaching winter, cutting down a couple of dead trees and chopping firewood which will keep the house warm and the water hot at home. It’s been raining, which is exactly what the groves needed, and there’s lots of olives, so we’re looking forward to a wonderful crop this year.
