Washing trays from the nursery at home before re-potting seedlings into larger pots. We have lavender, sage, Clary sage, and Marjory. It’s so hot we’ll keep them under the shaded patio for a while, monitor carefully, water regularly, and move them in and out of the sunlight until they’re strong and healthy enough to be planted in the garden.
The heatwave is relentless. The vegetable garden needs monitoring and extra watering, but it’s growing well, and has gifted us eggplants, zucchini, silverbeet, potatoes, melons, and cucumbers recently. The tomatoes are on the way, but there’s something going on with the watermelons this year…
