It’s suddenly very hot this week so we start work earlier each morning, escape the heat at lunchtime, and continue doing whatever we’re doing in the late afternoon early evening. We’re picking and distilling, attending to the vegetable garden, and not spending much time behind the computer.
The cornflower hydrolites are fabulous so far, though we’re still experimenting with our process, with the amount of water we’re using. When the last of the cornflower is done we have rosemary, lavender, and magnolia ready to distill, and a bed of pretty little yellow helichrysum flowers to plant.
