We’ve been busy at the farm, but the vegetable gardens at home have been thriving in our absence. We have Asian salads, leeks, silverbeets, and white eggplants, with broccoli and cabbages to come. Remarkably, the calendula is still growing, which was not the plan or our intention. But hey, sure.
At the farm the first flower bed of camomile is planted, and we’re now in the greenhouses there planting cornflower seeds and more camomile in trays, and working on second and third flower beds. The days are cold and crisp, there has been some rain, and everything’s good.
