By popular request, our annual wildflower post! We keep our olive groves in long grass seeded with herbs, wild grasses, and flowers, all rich in natrium that enriches the soil and promotes the health of the trees. It’s an important part of the virtuous cycle of biodiversity that we deliberately maintain, because we cultivate the groves organically, not using any pesticides, artificial fertilizers, or chemicals.
This year we have Californian, Siberian, Opium, and Silky poppies; pink, white, and blue cornflowers; daisies, wild carrot, chicory, lavender, rosemary, calendula, and sage. There’s more, they’re gorgeous, and we should probably open a flower shop…
