The peach tree beside the driveway at the side of the house in the early morning sun, on our way up through the grove to the vegetable gardens. On the embankment beside the driveway is our arid climate plants, cactuses and shrubs, and throughout our properties are numerous other trees, including oak, pine, cypress, rose, lemon, and a ginkgo biloba, which is really taking it’s time to get going.
In the olive groves themselves there are lavender, rosemary, calendula, fennel, comfrey, sage, and borago plants, in addition to a wide range of natural herbs, wild grasses, and wildflowers including poppies, chickory, daisies, and wild carrots. We are committed to biodiversity and maintaining a healthy and natural biological ecosystem in our gardens and groves, and use only natural composts and organic fertilizers that we make ourselves. This is what makes our products unique, and truly biological.
