A sunny day in the garden planting, tending, weeding and humming away listening to podcasts while we work. These are precious days with something elemental to it, our hands in the dirt attending to the food we eat and the use in our biological preserves and sauces. Especially with so many large hard working renovation jobs going on at the farm across town.
We maintain our vegetable gardens and olive groves organically, without any pesticides or artificial fertilizers. We use only use only natural composts, microbes, and fungi that we make ourselves, and there are no preservatives, emulsifiers, salts, or food dyes in our products. Days like these in our gardens remind us why.
