We spent two days in the dark because the electricity went ka-bloo-ey, and it was raining constantly, so it was the perfect excuse and opportunity to restack the firewood, which together with the solar panels () generates all our heating and hot water in the house. With the last of the computer’s batteries we also designed a new series of product labels and reformatted our inventory excel data sheets.

It was also Babies Day when we plant seeds in seed beds for the new season. Not only a full range of vegetables and herbs and flowers for the gardens and groves that we know work, but a bunch of things we want to experiment with. When planted and carefully documented, they go to our little nursery to incubate and sprout, and from there to either the vegetable garden at the house, the grove, the flower and herb beds, to pots, or to the greenhouses at the farm.
