The last of the crates and the olive harvest this year is done! There were storms and strong winds in the weeks before we began, which was worrying, but we found the perfect window of good weather we needed, and the harvest has been excellent for us in a year when so many of our collegues have struggled… We’ve broken our own record, picking more olives than ever before!

The serious pruning we did last year has paid off, more than we could have hoped, and our initial testing of the oil is wonderful. Now our attention turns to administrative things; our biological certification, a fresh set of labels, bottling and packaging and taking care of the first orders that have come in. We’ve had a number of custom orders from the #USA recently, too, which is exciting – and gratifying.
