Working again in the garden, preparing the ground, laying fresh hay, and planting a third section of silverbeet, salad, sweet potato, eggplant and other autumn/winter vegetables. And the first section from spring and summer has already been cleared and mulched and returned to the earth; heavily watered and covered with thick black plastic for the winter months to further enrich the soil.
The weather is warm and the recent storms have passed and olive harvest is soon. So we’re busy preparing for that and keeping a careful eye on the weather forecast while also responding to business inquiries and preparing for an end of year ad campaign.
