Wildflowers in the long grass in the grove at home on an incredibly hot day. Our groves and olive oil are certified biological, and the long wild grass and herbs and flowers are an essential part of the natural and organic principles that are the essence of our farm and our products.

The heatwave means we have to change the way and the hours we work. We start early and work hard for as long as we can before the heat drives us inside, then back out in the late afternoon and work till dark. It takes planning, and being realistic, and looking after ourselves. And it’s only early July.
