Our son working the high branches of the olive trees at the farm during harvest. Hard work because our monocultivar canino olives are notoriously tough little olives and stubborn to get off the branches, especially when picking this early in the season. So we call for the boy.
In between moving nets, sorting olives, and filling the trailer, we’ve been able to sweep through the farm, cleaning autumn leaves from the gutters, cutting and stacking wood from the extensive pruning we’ve done on the large fruit trees here, cleaning up, and replacing a door and window frame in one of the outside buildings.
