The storage buildings at the farm on the lower terraces. We still call it the ‘cheese farm’ because this is where our mother used to make cheese and yoghurts, but which we have repurposed as our long term storage facility. It’s been inspected and certified for our HACCP certificate, but it still needs work, like much else!
The farm needs work, love, and attention after the summer, with grass to cut, weeds to pull, branches to chop, hedges to trim, and so much else. We also have specialists coming in this week to fumigate the large office roof in the main building, and the staging and drying room for the herbs and plants. Country ants like wood…
