The open patio beside the house, where the baby aloe vera plants in small pots sit happily next to the larger plants we’ve propagated them from. It’s a lovely part of the property, and the plants love it; with chicory flowers and daisies in the grass, young mango and avocado trees, and rose and blackberry plants curling up the wooden beams.
