We’ve opened a new section of the regenerative gardens at home for the summer vegetables, put down fresh hay, almost finished putting in the irrigation system, and have cleaned the rainwater drums for the coming year. It’s very hot, but we’ve got a big international order to package up and send off soon as well.
We’ve planted ten types of tomatoes, four types of eggplant, two types of corn, a few types of salad and beetroot, pumpkins, beans, and best of all; melon and watermelon. The heat has also meant we’ve had to replant the calendula suffering in the farm greenhouses to the gardens here at home to try to save them.
