The left hand side of the large vegetable garden at home, slowly opening it up for the summer season when we have the time. Next to the natural rainwater tanks that will irrigate the garden through the hot dry months are the first salads, plus new rows planned and laid out and ready for planting.

There is still a large section still to get to under thick plastic and compost which has been incubating and regenerating throughout the winter, but we’re so busy with the greenhouses and grove at the farm that we’ll have to think carefully about how much we’ll do in the coming weeks.
