Folding and rolling one of the large harvesting nets in the second driveway at the farm before we transport them over to the home grove. We start there on Monday, so have a busy weekend ahead in that grove, cutting the grass around the base of the olive trees so that the nets lay flat and clear.

We’re also working at the farm grove, using the motocultivator to turn the earth once more and level it out, then seeding the whole grove with a cover crop that will grow throughout the winter, improving the health, fertility, and richness of the soil before planting season in early spring. We’re also having the patio at home rebuilt, so it’s an incredibly busy and productive period!
