We’ve struggled to find the time to get to the vegetable gardens recently, with work at the farm continuing at a faster pace now, working on the grove and greenhouses, converting the old chicken coop into a storage shed, and taking meetings about one or two outstanding repairs still to finish. We’ve even found time to take another course!
There’s so much to do, and a timetable now as well. Harvest season is approaching, we have a certification inspection to prepare for, work on the greenhouses has to be finished, and we have a cover crop to sow in the grove as soon as we’ve harvested. The vegetable gardens forgive, though, and we now have a crop of incredible succulent tomatoes along with the silverbeets and peppers and corgettes. And the weeds and wild grasses. Them too.
