The vegetable garden at home in the shade of the oak trees on a hot July afternoon. They struggled in the heat a bit earlier in the month, but we’ve lavished them with care and attention, with our homemade mix of organic nutrients and extra water in the evening from the natural irrigation system we’ve just installed.
Growing well now is the corn, peas, summer salads, eggplants, silverbeet, and eggplants, all maintained organically, without any pesticides or artificial fertilizers. We use only use only natural composts, microbes, and fungi that we make ourselves, and there are no preservatives, emulsifiers, salts, or food dyes in the food we grow for ourselves, or our products.
