Work, work, work, but it’s all coming together now. Sun is shining, debris is cleaned up, olive and mulberry trees are trimmed, and grass is cut so that we can repair and relay the irrigation and electricity system in the front grove at the farm. We’ll move the old chicken coop in the center of the grove to somewhere more useful if and when we can figure out where and how so that we can use it as a tool and seed shed.
There’s still so much to do, but we can see what we’re doing now and the results of all the hard work. We’ve invested in some serious machinery, the building repairs are finished, and the irrigation valves have been replaced, but there are still dead trees to be cut down, hedges to be given a major haircut, and a storage shed to be cleaned out and repurposed. And then we’re really talking!
